This truly is great for a child’s first remote control car. The sound effects are great! Not too loud and it really gets my grandson’s attention. The two-button remote control is easy for him to operate and hold. Batteries easy to replace and last a really long time in both the car and the remote control. NO SPECIAL SCREWDRIVER NEEDED: Just a small phillips is all it takes. Highly recommended! We bought the police car, fire truck, construction loader and school bus. The soft body makes it safe for both child and furniture!

this is the second vehicle from this manufacturer that I have gotten for my son. He loves cars and with the 2 we have now, we have lots of fun playing with them both. The only problem I have had is that it does make a lot of noise so a volume control or selector would have been nice. It is very durable and will last longer than any regular RC. It’s rubber like body which wraps around to even the bottom helps it to survive falls from over 3 feet, being hit by a tricycle and even kicked about. Great product for the money and fun.

this firetruck is so easy for little guys to drive. my grandson just turned two (and due to birth complications has limited use of left hand) but this toy allows him to play with this truck freely, without assistance. TOTAL INDEPENDENCE… WHAT COULD BE MORE IMPOTANT THAN THAT TO A TWO-YEAR-OLD!!! NICE TOY…highly recommended.

We bought this Radio Control Toy for our Grandson’s 2nd Birthday. It took a day of getting used to, but the controls are easy to learn, and now he just LOVES this Fire Truck. He’s been a fan of Fire Trucks for a while now. Before anybody else can hear it, he’s always pointing outside and yelling “Fire Truck” any time one goes by in the distance.
This truck is made of Soft Rubber to help it absorb abuse by youngsters. Seems like a good design feature as he loves to lay on it sometimes. And when it drives, it makes realistic Fire Truck Sounds.
All around, a great purchase, and a great price from Amazon, again…
He now points out all School Buses too, so we will probably get the School Bus next for Christmas.

There have been many remote controlled cars in our lives since our son was born in 2006, but this is the one that he can finally control all on his own.
The fire truck has great colors and a rubbery yet plastic feel at the same time. The remote control consists of an up button which moves the truck forward and a down button which turns the vehicle. The truck is not as slow as others make it out to be! I was surprised to find that is probably goes about 2 mph (great speed) and can even roll over carpet.
The only downside is that once this little bad boy gets out of range you will not be able to control it until you move closer. That withstanding, it is still a great product that my nearly 3 year old can control all on his own. The truck has typical fire truck sounds that are pretty loud but not annoying. Have rechargables handy because it eats regular batteries.
All in all, a wonderful purchase that I highly recommend and am looking into purchasing the rest of the collection.

The nose broke off on the first attempt at flight on soft ground. Very poorly made. A truly disappointing waste of money.
